Tipi - Features & Facilities - Outside

The Tipi is set in its own private grassed clearing, next to our fruit orchard, and surrounded by a range of native NZ trees. Through the trees there’s a magnificent view of Mt Fyffe (only 4km away!).

Hexagonal toilet building = exclusively for Tipi guests, and only a couple of metres away. Inside is a single space, with a wet floor shower, shower-curtain, toilet and wash-basin set in a beautiful macrocarpa bench.

Companion outdoor barbecue shelter = nearby is a purpose built bbq shelter for tipi guests, with a range of cooking implements, including: gas barbecue, gas pizza oven, gas hob, sink, crockery/cutlery and outdoor table and chairs. The  shelter is tastefully decorated with a range of historic artifacts from a bygone age!

Llama Trekking = also available, but must be pre-booked.

Farm Animals = enjoy EXCLUSIVE access to our private collection of Farm Animals (not available to the general public, only guests staying in our accommodation). Llama, pigs, alpaca, sheep, pony, donkey, deer, chickens, collie dog ~ about thirty in total.
FREE pony ride for small children.

Three hours access per day - 8-10am and 3-4pm.

Complimentary animal feed cup included in your property.
