Features & Facilities - Inside

The Train Carriage has the following features:

Master Bedroom = a traditional brass ornamental double bed

Second Bedroom = two wooden bunk beds - max. 6ft (1.8M) long!

Wooden panelling throughout, with lots of railway memorabilia.

Bathroom = in the middle of the Carriage are a shower room and toilet.

Kitchen = an open plan, self-catering kitchen includes: electric hob, microwave & oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, sink.

Continental breakfast = a selection of breakfast cereals, loaf of bread, butter, millk, tea, coffee, sugar, homemade jam, and (subject to availability) seasonal fruit and farm-fresh eggs. (left in the fridge for you to enjoy)

Open plan Lounge = flat-screen TV/DVD player, traditional sofa and chair.

 Recycling bins are provided. We support Kaikoura's 100% recycling ambition by recycling as much as we possibly can, and ask that you help us wash, separate and recycle the waste you produce.

FREE use of bathroom robes and slippers = adult size only. If you'd like to keep and take them with you: Robes = $50 each; slippers = $10 per pair.
